Run, walk, bike or climb for freedom
Established in 1980 by Ansar Burney, an advocate from the Pakistani port city of Karachi, the Ansar Burney Trust was the first organization to introduce true human rights in Pakistan. We fight against all forms of injustices: cruel inhumane and degrading treatment, child abuse, cruelty to women and other more subtle forms of human and civil rights violations. ABT is a network of human rights organizations working for the deliverance of justice, better treatment of human beings, rights, freedoms and civil liberties. Our work is to raise awareness, provide free legal advice, services and humanitarian assistance where needed. Our anti-trafficking work initially involved assisting children used for drug smuggling and girls used for commerical sexual exploitation.
Ansar Burney Trust works as a non-political, non-governmental and non-profitable organization and - without any discrimination or affiliation - fights against all foms of injustices: inhumane and degrading treatment, child abuse and other more subtle forms of human and civil rights violations.
