Learn About the Unique Vulnerability of Communities of Color to Trafficking
February is Black History Month in the United States. Honor this time by learning about how to address the crisis of human trafficking in communities of color.
Arise was established in 2015 to prevent slavery and human trafficking in some of the worst affected areas in the world.
We believe that local groups and their networks are a hugely powerful, but marginalized and underdeveloped, resource in the fight against slavery.
We provide support to frontline groups and their networks, through strategic grant giving, direct partnership, training and capacity building. We work with them, leading thought leaders and universities to conduct research into the effectiveness of their models. We amplify their voices within the human rights and policy communities and advocate for change.
