History

Our focus is to identify a network of key contributors and facilitate communication, planning and implementation of strategic efforts to reduce the risk that a vulnerable child will be trafficked and exploited. NHJAN is committed to forming partnerships, collaborative practices and facilitation of ideas, resources and efforts that ultimately impact the at risk child or the survivor whose childhood had been devastated by exploitation.

Our key contacts are law enforcement, social service agencies, healthcare providers, educators, faith based organizations, business leaders, survivors, and community members. Our hope is that these key contributors will rally around vulnerable communities and their members to develop a community mindset that resists exploitative practices against its at-risk populations. We believe that community involvement is the key to overcoming these injustices.

Mission

Our vision is to see a world where a child is not seen as a commodity to be abused, neglected, sold and bought. We advocate for children to have human rights. We see a problem with the treatment of children and we intend to do something about it.
